This recent order of Sandalbrox is disappointing. I purchased one in December 2025 and it was amazing! Unfortunately this batch is much sweeter than the one I purchased in December 2025. I understand that you will never get a perfect match with dupes but the difference is significant enough for me to write a review as I normally do not post reviews.
I did email them (10 days ago) to ask them why it's so different but have had no response. I also stored this in a dark place (as per instructions on their website) but still no change in smell.
bought in December 2025 and it is spicy and strong and perfect! i am about to run out, so need more - i see a few recent comments on diff smell in new batch - i hope not. this batch was amazing.

It took me some time to come back to you, as I wanted to confirm my first impression, so I decided to try the original Santal 33 and your version. I remember purchasing about 2 years ago and Ali's version was outstanding. Then, a few months ago, I purchased another bottle, disappointing, it didn't smell much, strangely and this last bottle arrived a few weeks ago.Your version, compared to the original one, is sweeter, and somehow unpleasant, compared to the original one. I would never publish on social media something against Ali,As I admire him and seeing how commited he is, and also passionate, but I just wanted to give you my humble feedback, as You sent me this message. Such an accurate dupe of Santa’s 33. Great woody smell with a hint of cardamom and great sandalwood. It also does have that pickle/dill smell but a bit more toned down from the original.

If you are considering buying your first Jalu fragrance, I could not recommend this enough! First encountering Jalu on Reddit pages, he was dubbed the king when it came to dupes in terms of quality, projection and execution- these reviews certainly did not disappoint! Having smelt the original Santal 33, I’d argue that this one is stronger, projects more and lasts longer on my skin. This fragrance lingers on my clothes for 2 days after I wear it-wafting through my laundry basket even!
If you are after a clean scent that will smell as though it’s just been sprayed on your skin (though you may have sprayed it hours ago) -this is your fragrance. Definitely non offensive and compliment magnet. This scent is so versatile, you can pretty much wear this anywhere-but do be warned that you will be stopped wherever you go!
Scent usually lasts 10-12 hours in my skin
