K.H. I don't know what the originals are like but with this perfume I smell a slight coffee note & a caramelised sugar with a lovely vanilla dry down. It's sweet & smooth but not heavy & overpowering. I'd imagine with time this will get stronger. A nice gourmond scent for the winter
